Javad Ezzati in Big Troubles

Another major television milestone came with Big Troubles, known in Persian as Dardesarhaye Azim.

Directed by Borzu Niknejad, the series became popular with a broad television audience. Ezzati played Latif, a young man who becomes involved in a complicated series of situations while attempting to solve financial and personal problems.

Unlike the eccentric supporting characters that initially brought Ezzati recognition, Latif gave him a larger role and allowed him to carry more of the narrative.

The series was produced across two seasons and featured actors including Mehran Rajabi, Maryam Saadat, Elnaz Habibi and Mehdi Hashemi.

Ezzati’s performance demonstrated that he could function not only as a supporting comic performer but also as a leading television actor.
