Why Was Taeb’s Ministry of Intelligence Experience Important?

Working in intelligence during the early decades of the Islamic Republic gave Taeb exposure to:

The experience would later become relevant when the IRGC developed its own increasingly powerful intelligence structure.

Some Iranian media accounts have described Taeb’s background in the Ministry of Intelligence as one reason for his suitability for senior intelligence positions within the Revolutionary Guards.
