Dilan Çıtak: Turkish Singer and İbrahim Tatlıses’ Daughter Discovered Her True Identity at Age 13

Return to Turkey and Advancing Her Career

After a year in the U.S., Dilan returned to Turkey, eager to apply what she had learned. She continued her education at Istanbul Technical University’s English Musicology Department, where she deepened her understanding of music theory and performance. Alongside her studies, Dilan began teaching piano and violin at a local art school, sharing her passion for music with the next generation.

Rising to Fame: Dilan’s big break came in 2014 when she released her debut single, “Çık Dışarı.” The song quickly gained traction, and the music video received over 1.9 million views on YouTube, establishing Dilan as a rising star in the Turkish music scene. Her soulful voice and unique style resonated with audiences, and she soon became known as one of the most promising young artists in the country.
