Ruhollah Razavi: The Kashmiri-Born Media Host Behind Time and the British Embassy Controversy
Education: Engineering Background Before Politics and Media
Before entering the media world, Ruhollah Razavi studied engineering.
He completed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Railway Engineering
- Master’s degree in Electrical Railway Engineering
at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Tehran.
His academic background was technical rather than political.
However, the university environment played an important role in shaping his political direction.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, Iran University of Science and Technology was considered one of the important centers for conservative student activism.
Several political figures associated with Iran’s conservative movement had connections with this university environment.
