A Life Marked by Struggles

Despite his fame, Nozari faced personal hardships. In the late 1970s, he was imprisoned in Qasr Prison for drawing a check without a due date — an incident driven by manipulative businessmen. He endured four months in prison, a period that tested his resilience.

Heart Surgery and Later Years

He later underwent heart surgery, yet he remained committed to his work and his fans. Despite illness, he joked and made others laugh, embodying the spirit of the true artist.

His Last Days and Final Farewell

In December 2005, Manouchehr Nozari’s health declined, but his spirit remained unbroken. When hospitalized, he predicted a large crowd would gather to bid him farewell — and his prophecy came true. His final farewell was marked by a sea of mourners, and his voice continued to bring smiles even after his death.
