Rangers of the Islamic Republic Army Demonstrate Combat Readiness

The role of commanders

Commanders play a central role in field exercises.

They are responsible for organizing personnel, monitoring performance and ensuring that training objectives are achieved.

Exercises also provide commanders with an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of leadership structures.

A successful exercise requires more than individual soldier performance. It requires coordination between different levels of command and an ability to adapt when circumstances change.

Commanders can use observations from exercises to identify areas for improvement and determine where additional training may be required.

This feedback process is essential to maintaining a high standard of readiness.
