Rangers of the Islamic Republic Army Demonstrate Combat Readiness

The importance of continuous training

Military readiness cannot be established through a single exercise. It requires continuous training, assessment and repetition.

Personnel must regularly practice basic procedures so that they remain familiar with their responsibilities. Repeated training also allows commanders to identify areas where improvements may be required.

Exercises provide an opportunity to evaluate whether established procedures remain effective in realistic conditions. They can reveal weaknesses in communication, coordination or physical preparedness that may not be visible during routine activities.

For specialized ranger units, this process is particularly important because their training places considerable emphasis on adaptability and endurance.

Continuous training also helps maintain cohesion. Soldiers who repeatedly train together develop familiarity with one another’s working methods and learn to coordinate more effectively.
