Transition to International Fame and Emigration
Life After the Revolution
The 1979 Revolution marked a turning point in Aref’s life. Initially, he stayed for seven months, performing songs with revolutionary themes like “Brother Bia” and “Juaneh”.
Emigration to Abroad
In 1980, Aref decided to leave, traveling first to England and later settling in Los Angeles in 1982. His move was driven by political upheaval, censorship, and the desire to continue his artistic career freely.
