Aref Arefkia was born on August 14, 1944. His family had Turkish roots, which contributed to his unique cultural identity. His mother, Tahereh, was an educated woman who studied dentistry at Moscow University before her marriage. His father was a truck driver from a working-class background.

Childhood and Education

Growing up, Aref displayed an early interest in music and singing. He completed his primary and secondary education and graduated from a local conservatory with a degree in carpentry. Despite his technical education, his passion for music remained steadfast.

Family Life
