Sepehr Heydari: A Football Icon

What drives you? For some, it might be money or success, but for Sepehr Heydari and Aram Jouyandeh, it is strictly passion. Sports and music are what brought them together, and it is all they need to push through life’s boundaries.

Prior to meeting Jouyandeh, Heydari was best known for his soccer skills. He began with Zob Ahan and most recently played with Mes Kerman. However, he soon found himself falling out of love with the game that had given him so much fame. After suffering a major knee injury in August 2020, Heydari turned back to his old hobby: music.

The pair’s initial connection happened at Erika Iranian Bowling Center, but this only marked the beginning of their whirlwind romance. Their story has seen plenty of ups and downs, including public scrutiny and false rumors; however, these two have never let those things affect them.

Transitioning from athletes to coaches, Heydari and Jouyandeh opened Sarkh Pushan Sepehr Kish Academy on Kish Island, where they aim to grow talent and foster a love for the game. And although coaching has seemingly consumed their lives, Jouyandeh’s passion for song remains intact.

Together, they are an unstoppable force of athleticism and artistry that many can only dream of being.
