Iran’s S-300 Defense System: A Strategic Game-Changer in Regional Security
In recent developments, Russia’s S-300 missile system has been shown off by Iran during its Army Day parade. This action caused the world to react differently. Consequently, the arrival of the S-300 system in Iran marks a significant turning point in Tehran’s military capability, enabling it to defend its airspace against various aerial threats such as aircraft and ballistic missiles within a 150-kilometer range.
Understanding the S-300 System and its Capabilities
The decision to select the S-300 over the S-400 has sparked a lot of debate.
