Celebrating 3 Years of Love: Peyman Ghasemkhani and Mitra Ebrahimi’s Inspiring Journey
In March 2019, amidst the challenges of the Corona period, the acclaimed screenwriter and actor, Peyman Ghasemkhani, embarked on a new chapter of his life by tying the knot with Mitra Ebrahimi. The ceremony marked not only the union of two individuals but also the blending of artistic prowess and psychological insight.
Peyman Ghasemkhani, born on January 30, 1345, is renowned for his contributions to cinema, having scripted memorable works like ‘The Lizard,’ ‘Saint Petersburg,’ ‘No Gentlemen Entering,’ ‘Powerchain,’ and ‘Barreh Nights.’ Prior to his marriage with Mitra Ebrahimi, Ghasemkhani experienced a separation from his first wife, Bahare Rahnama, in 2015, after 24 years of marriage. Their daughter, Priya, is pursuing a musical education outside of Iran.
Mitra Ebrahimi, a psychologist and documentary maker with a degree in child and adolescent clinical psychology, entered Ghasemkhani’s life through a shared passion for supporting animals. Ebrahimi’s first documentary, ‘Kami,’ revolves around the life of Kamiyar Shapour, the son of Forough Farrokhzad and Parviz Shapour. This project not only showcased Ebrahimi’s filmmaking skills but also became the catalyst for her connection with Ghasemkhani, who agreed to produce the documentary after being impressed by its teaser.
