The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a delegation of business leaders in renewable energy, technology, and fashion to visit Riyadh for meetings with Saudi counterparts. Simultaneously, the Saudi government coordinated to send a delegation of businesses focused on real estate and tourism to Milan, aiming to explore partnerships that could benefit both economies.

Cultural Festivals and Educational Exchanges

Cultural institutions in Italy and Saudi Arabia began organizing a series of festivals aimed at celebrating their respective heritages. The Italian Cultural Institute in Riyadh announced plans for an Italian Festival, which would feature exhibitions of Italian art, cinema screenings, and culinary tastings. In turn, Saudi cultural organizations planned to showcase Saudi art and music in Italy, allowing for a stronger cultural footprint in both countries.

Education emerged as another critical area for collaboration. Italian universities recognized the potential for academic partnerships with Saudi institutions, particularly in fields such as engineering, environmental studies, and art history. Scholarships for students to study abroad—particularly at renowned institutions in Italy—were discussed as a way to strengthen these educational ties.
