How do you balance your work as a model with your personal life and other commitments?
Balancing modeling projects with my personal life is a challenging juggling act, but it works through careful planning and time management. I adhere to a strict schedule, organizing my modeling assignments and personal responsibilities accordingly. By prioritizing my to-do list, I can focus on the most essential tasks first. Saying “no” can be difficult, but setting limits is crucial to maintaining balance and reducing stress. I also allocate specific time for self-care and relaxing activities to ensure I maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Can you discuss the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a model, and what are some of your favorite ways to stay fit and healthy?
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial as a model because how you feel internally is reflected externally. For me, health encompasses both the physical and mental aspects. My favorite regimen to heal my mind, body, and soul includes regular workouts involving weights and cardio, a balanced diet, proper hydration, restful sleep, mindfulness, and spending time in nature through activities like hiking.
How do you approach your nutrition and diet to ensure that you maintain your physique and energy levels?
To maintain my physique and energy, I follow a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Portion control is key, so I focus on eating in moderation. Staying hydrated is equally important, as is avoiding energy dips by eating balanced meals and healthy snacks. I limit processed foods and sugar, and I listen to my body—eating when I’m hungry and stopping when I’m satisfied.
What are some common misconceptions about the modeling industry, and how do you address them?
One major misconception is that models must strive for unrealistic body standards. I don’t support this extreme standard; instead, I promote body positivity by embracing my body differences. Another misconception is that models lack intelligence, which I find disheartening. To combat this, I equip myself with knowledge, articulate my thoughts, and focus on skills beyond modeling. There’s also the false belief that modeling equates to instant success. It’s vital for aspiring models to understand that a successful career requires hard work, persistence, and dedication. Lastly, many assume that models are all financially secure, which isn’t always the case. Social media can be deceiving, as many images are paid advertisements or collaborations. I use my platform to promote authenticity and deliver the truth.
How has your family influenced your career and your approach to health and wellness?
My family has supported me from day one, encouraging me to pursue modeling while guiding me to focus on health and personal growth, not just appearance. They instilled in me the importance of healthy habits, like balanced eating and consistent exercise. They have also provided immense emotional support to help me navigate industry pressures and manage financial planning, ensuring my well-being beyond the superficial.
