The deliberate details are also personal: Powder rooms will feature a quartet of custom de Gournay wall coverings depicting beloved Latin American vistas such as Chile’s flamingo-studded Atacama Desert and Argentina’s Hill of Seven Colors. On the roof deck, the view north is framed by silk-and-linen drapes in blush-tone stripes by Colombian fashion designer Johanna Ortiz, Santa Cruz and Santo Domingo’s close friend.
