Parsa Pirouzfar, born on September 13, 1972, is a multi-talented Iranian actor, theater director, painter, playwright, and translator whose career blends creativity across multiple disciplines. Known for standout performances in In the Eyes of the Wind (2009–2010) and Mum’s Guest (2004), Pirouzfar has earned prestigious accolades, including a Hafez Award and an Iran Cinema Celebration Award.

Pirouzfar’s artistic journey began with comic strip creation during his high school years. He later pursued formal education in painting at the University of Tehran’s Faculty of Fine Arts, where his passion for theater blossomed. His stage debut came with Behrouz Gharibpour’s Les Misérables, where he portrayed Marius Pontmercy. Over the years, he honed his craft under the tutelage of luminaries like Mahin Oskouei and Hamid Samandarian.

One of his most remarkable achievements is the play Matryoshka, a solo performance in which he portrayed over 30 characters. The play toured extensively across North America and Iran, earning Pirouzfar critical acclaim, including the Golden Statue Award for Best Actor at the Fajr International Theatre Festival in 2017. Beyond acting, Pirouzfar is deeply engaged in teaching, translating plays, and creating visual art, solidifying his reputation as a Renaissance figure in Iranian art.
