Civil struggles of young girls with the compulsory hijab

According to the statistics published by the Gaman Institute in 2020, 72% of Iranians are against the mandatory hijab. On the other hand, 15% are in favor of a mandatory hijab. 58% do not believe in hijab, while 26.6% believe in hijab. More than 50,000 respondents participated in this survey, and about 90% of the respondents were residents of Iran. The findings of this report reflect the views of literate people over the age of 19 (equal to 85% of adults in Iran) and can be generalized to this population with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%.
