Civil struggles of young girls with the compulsory hijab
After Saudi Arabia canceled the mandatory hijab law and recognized women’s freedom of action in veiling on February 2, 2018, the Republic became the only official government that, along with unofficial fundamentalist groups such as the Taliban, ISIS, and Boko Haram, believes in compulsory hijab and implements it like the law, and the punishment for violating it is up to 72 lashes and imprisonment.
