4. A Lifelong Poet: Writing Since Age 9

Poetry has always been a passion for Andisheh Foladvand. She began writing poetry at the tender age of nine, creating her first verse for a teacher. Her father’s encouragement led her to memorize classic Persian poets such as Hafez, Saadi, and Ferdowsi, which influenced her poetic voice. She often describes poetry as her “savior,” a channel through which she has been able to navigate the complexities of life.

In 2007, she published her first poetry collection, Atsehai Nehs, which was well-received in Iranian literary circles.
