Nooshafarin, born Fatemeh Abdi Galangeshi in April 1956 in Gilan, Iran, is a prominent Iranian singer and actress currently residing in Canada. Her artistic journey began at a young age, significantly influencing the Iranian music and film industries.
Early Life and Education
Nooshafarin experienced a tumultuous childhood marked by her parents’ separation. As the eldest of seven siblings, her family moved to Tehran during her early years. There, she developed a passion for music, often performing songs at school, which garnered encouragement from her peers.

At just 16, while studying at Keyvan High School and working at a company, Nooshafarin discovered an advertisement from Payam Studio seeking new talent for a film.
