Women During Iran’s Constitutional Revolution
One of the earliest examples of organized female participation in modern Iranian politics appeared during the Constitutional Revolution of 1905–1911.
Women contributed by:
- organizing support networks,
- participating in demonstrations,
- creating educational initiatives,
- and supporting political reforms.
Although they did not receive equal political rights at that time, their participation demonstrated that women were active participants in national debates.
