The Risk Is Still Real

It would be misleading to suggest that resistance comes without consequences.

Authorities still crack down on dissent. Arrests, intimidation, and even violence have been documented in response to protests and social defiance.

The system has not disappeared. It has adapted.

Sometimes enforcement is strict. Sometimes it relaxes. This inconsistency creates uncertainty—but also space. And women are using that space.
