Tara Aghdashloo’s Lavish Wedding Celebration at Carrières des Lumières
Curation
Tara’s multifaceted career includes a role as a curator. She co-directed and curated The Invisible Line (TIL) Gallery in East London for two years. During her tenure, the gallery hosted approximately 25 shows, highlighting her commitment to promoting contemporary art and providing a platform for emerging artists.
One of Tara’s notable curatorial endeavors was the retrospective of Portuguese artist Cristina Rodrigues, which took place in Castelo Branco Museum in 2017. Her dedication to fostering cross-cultural artistic exchanges was evident in this exhibition.
Tara has also been an active reviewer of art, with a particular focus on the works of Iranian and Middle Eastern artists. Her reviews and critiques contribute to the dialogue surrounding contemporary art, shedding light on the voices and talents of artists from underrepresented regions.
