Early Life and Childhood

Setayesh Rajai-Nia was born in Iran and spent much of her early life in the city of Mashhad, one of the country’s largest cultural and religious centers.

Growing up outside Tehran presented additional challenges for someone pursuing a career in acting. Since most Iranian television and film productions are based in Tehran, aspiring actors from other cities often face considerable logistical and financial difficulties.

Rajai-Nia developed an interest in performing arts during her youth. Rather than viewing acting as merely a hobby, she considered it a serious career goal.

Her commitment eventually led her to attend acting workshops while continuously applying for auditions despite repeated setbacks.
