Four years later, the younger generation remains central to discussions about Iran’s future.
Many young Iranians have limited personal memory of the 1979 revolution or the monarchy that preceded it.
Their political expectations are therefore different from those of older generations.
They are more connected to global culture through social media, digital platforms, international education and migration.
