Ramin Rezaeian Reached Out to Euphoria Actress Jewell Farshad Following the World Cup: What We Know About the Claims
The name of Iranian football star Ramin Rezaeian has become part of a growing entertainment and social-media story involving Iranian-American actress and model Jewell Farshad, best known to international audiences for her work on HBO’s Euphoria.
What initially appeared to be an unconfirmed celebrity rumor following the 2026 FIFA World Cup has developed into a much more controversial story after Farshad reportedly discussed her alleged private interaction with the Iranian footballer and described what she considers a contradiction between his public image and his alleged private behavior.
The claims have not been independently established, and Rezaeian has not publicly confirmed the allegations described by Farshad. Earlier reports in July said that Rezaeian had allegedly contacted Farshad through Instagram direct messages following Iran’s World Cup campaign. One report said screenshots reviewed by the publication appeared consistent with the account, while also stressing that neither Farshad nor Rezaeian had publicly commented at that time.
