Laya Zanganeh’s Entry Into Iranian Cinema

After achieving recognition on television, Laya Zanganeh entered Iranian cinema and began building a career alongside her successful television work.

Her first cinematic experience came in 1997 with the film:

“Raz-e Mina” (The Secret of Mina)

Directed by Abbas Rafei, the film marked the beginning of Zanganeh’s journey in Iranian cinema.

Although her early film appearances were not always leading roles, her professional acting style and ability to portray emotional characters gradually attracted the attention of filmmakers.

Unlike some actors who became known only through television, Zanganeh successfully developed a parallel career in both cinema and television, appearing in productions with different genres and artistic approaches.
