Laya Zanganeh Theater Career: Beginning on Stage

Before becoming famous on television, Laya Zanganeh began her professional career in theater.

The stage was the foundation of her acting journey, where she developed her skills and gained experience in professional performance.

Her first major professional theater appearance was in the play:

“Yadegar-e Sal-haye Shen” (The Memory of the Years of Silence)

Directed by Ali Rafiei in 1992, this production marked one of her earliest professional steps in Iranian theater.

Working in theater allowed Zanganeh to build a strong acting foundation before entering television and cinema.

After several years away from stage performances, she later returned to theater with productions such as “After Never”, continuing her connection with live performance.
