Jude Bellingham began his football journey with Stourbridge Juniors in 2009 before joining Birmingham City’s academy in 2010.

At Birmingham City, his development was extremely rapid.

He progressed through different youth levels and regularly played against older opponents. Coaches quickly recognized that he possessed qualities beyond his age:

• Excellent ball control
• Tactical intelligence
• Confidence under pressure
• Physical strength
• Leadership ability
• Strong passing range

At only 14 years old, Bellingham made his debut for Birmingham City’s Under-18 team.

A few months before turning 16, he was already playing for the club’s Under-23 side.

This rapid progression showed that he was not simply a talented youngster — he was a player capable of competing at a professional level.
