John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh Attend Matchbox The Movie VIP Screening in London With Jessica Biel

The London VIP Screening on October 7, 2026

The London VIP screening took place two days before the film’s global Apple TV release. The event offered an opportunity to celebrate the movie in one of the world’s leading entertainment capitals.

According to the supplied photo captions, John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh attended the screening at The Cinema in the Power Station at Battersea Power Station. A separate caption identifies Jessica Biel, John Cena, and Shay Shariatzadeh together at the event.

The images document a specific moment in the film’s promotional period. They also offer a visual record of the people associated with the production and the public appearances surrounding its release.

Celebrity screenings are different from ordinary public cinema showings. They can bring together actors, invited guests, industry professionals, and media representatives, creating opportunities for photographs and entertainment coverage.

Such appearances can help a film remain visible in the days surrounding its release. Audiences may discover the production through trailers, interviews, cast announcements, streaming recommendations, and photographs from promotional events.

The London screening was particularly timely because Matchbox The Movie became available globally on Apple TV on October 9, 2026.

Battersea Power Station: The London Venue

Battersea Power Station is a landmark on the south bank of the River Thames. The former power station is known for its monumental industrial architecture, including its distinctive chimneys and large brick structures.

Following redevelopment, the complex became a destination combining retail, restaurants, leisure facilities, offices, and entertainment venues. Its transformation has made it a recognizable setting for cultural events and visitor experiences.

The Cinema in the Power Station provided the location for the Matchbox The Movie VIP screening described in the supplied captions.

A venue with such a distinctive architectural identity can add visual interest to event photography. Rather than appearing against an anonymous backdrop, guests are photographed in a location closely associated with London.

The site’s industrial history also offers an interesting contrast with the movie’s automotive and action-adventure themes. Both the film and the venue draw on the visual language of machinery, engineering, transport, and large-scale environments, although they represent these ideas in very different ways.

For visitors to London, Battersea Power Station has become a recognizable destination in its own right. Its combination of historic architecture and modern redevelopment reflects the city’s ability to repurpose industrial spaces for contemporary cultural and commercial uses.

Shay Shariatzadeh and John Cena’s Relationship

Shay Shariatzadeh is an engineer and technology professional who became widely known through her relationship with John Cena. The couple married in October 2020 and have occasionally appeared together at entertainment events.

Unlike Cena, whose profession requires a substantial public presence, Shariatzadeh generally maintains a more private profile. Her appearances with her husband therefore attract attention from fans interested in the actor’s personal life.

The London screening photographs show the couple attending a professional entertainment event together. Their presence is relevant to coverage of the evening, but the photographs alone do not establish additional details about their private life.

Cena’s career has often involved balancing public appearances, filming commitments, and other professional responsibilities. Appearances with Shariatzadeh offer a glimpse of their life at selected public occasions without requiring them to share every aspect of their relationship.

The couple’s appearance at the Matchbox The Movie event also connects the actor’s personal and professional public profiles. While the movie is the main reason for the screening, celebrity photography frequently attracts audiences who follow relationships and red-carpet appearances as well as film news.
