When Did Hossein Taeb Join the IRGC?
According to biographical accounts, Hossein Taeb joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in 1982, when he was approximately 19 years old.
This was during the Iran-Iraq War, a period when the newly established Islamic Republic was rapidly expanding its revolutionary military institutions.
Taeb initially worked within the IRGC’s Tehran structures and later held positions associated with the IRGC in Qom and Khorasan.
His early career helped establish the foundation for his later advancement through the security establishment.
