The Role of the IRGC in Iran’s Political and Military Structure
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of the most powerful institutions in Iran, with influence extending far beyond military operations. It plays a crucial role in intelligence, economic activities, and regional strategy.
As head of IRGC Intelligence, Majid Khademi was deeply involved in monitoring internal dissent and coordinating external operations. His position made him a key figure in Iran’s security apparatus, and his death represents a significant loss for the organization.
The IRGC’s response to this event will likely shape Iran’s next steps, both domestically and internationally.
