Kelly Rowland’s Breast Augmentation

Singer and actress Kelly Rowland has one of the more frequently cited celebrity breast augmentation stories.

The former Destiny’s Child member has spoken about considering breast implants when she was very young.

She has explained that she first thought about breast augmentation at around 18.

However, Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé and a major influence in Rowland’s life, reportedly encouraged her to wait.

Rowland eventually decided to undergo surgery approximately a decade later.

Her goal was not to dramatically increase her breast size.

Instead, she wanted a relatively subtle change.

She has described moving from an A cup to a B cup.

That relatively small increase is important because it illustrates that breast augmentation does not necessarily mean pursuing a very large bust.
