An Armenian representative was also reported among those attending the memorial ceremony.
Iran and Armenia maintain longstanding bilateral relations, including cooperation in transportation, energy, trade and regional connectivity.
The participation of an Armenian diplomatic representative demonstrated that the gathering extended beyond Iran’s domestic political community and included members of the international diplomatic corps.
Military and Civilian Officials Attend the Ceremony
The memorial ceremony was attended by both military and civilian officials.
The presence of officials from different parts of the Iranian state reflected the broad professional and institutional network surrounding the foreign minister.
Military officials, civilian government representatives, political figures and religious personalities were among those present at the ceremony.
