16th Charity Exhibition of the Women’s Diplomatic Association Opens in Tehran

The 16th Charity Exhibition of the Women’s Diplomatic Association has opened in Tehran, bringing together charitable activities, women’s networks, cultural exchange, handicrafts, fashion, food and social engagement at the Abgineh Hall of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The exhibition opened on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, corresponding to 11 Shahrivar 1405, in the presence of Government Spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, Zahra Pezeshkian and Arezo Ahmadvand, alongside participants and activists from different fields of handicrafts and small-scale commerce. Iranian media reports identified Ahmadvand as the head of the Women’s Diplomatic Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event represents the latest edition of a charitable initiative that has brought together women connected with Iran’s diplomatic community and participants working in cultural and commercial fields.

Rather than functioning simply as a conventional shopping exhibition, the charity market combines commercial activity with philanthropy. According to reports about the 16th edition, participants include leading figures and businesses involved in handicrafts, clothing, gold and jewelry, food products and sweets. The proceeds are intended for charitable purposes, continuing the charitable orientation of previous editions.
