Screenplay Awards

The short screenplay “Mother’s Breath” by Sasan Pesian was crowned the best in its category. For feature screenplays, “Six Dangs” by Saber Allahdadian and “Night Suite” by Ali Jabarzadeh received top honors, recognizing their storytelling mastery.

Photography Awards: Urban and Professional Sections

In the Urban Photography Section, Arvin Salavati led the winners, with Emad Mohammadi and Marzieh Abedini acknowledged for their compelling collections.

In the Professional Photography Section, Siamak Zomorudi Motlagh and Pouya Shah Jahani earned top spots, showcasing Iran’s vibrant visual storytelling.

Documentary Filmmaking: Honoring Social Narratives

The best documentary was awarded to “One Thousand and One Nights of Baladieh” by Ahmad Saraf Yazd, a film that captures urban life and social realities. Special jury distinctions went to “That Night” by Mina Ghasemi-Zavareh, and social-damage narratives like “Mama Shokoh’s House” and “A Foot of Soil” received special awards, emphasizing cinema’s role in raising awareness about societal issues.

Short Cinema: Recognizing Emerging Talent

The Best Short Fiction Award went to “Alone Together” by Omid Mirzaei, highlighting innovative storytelling in brief formats. Other notable awards included “The School Principal” by Mikael Diani, and “Apatride” by Seyyed Mohammad Hossein HosseinR Fariba.

Best Director and Best Film Awards

Renowned filmmaker Rasoul Sadrameli received the Best Director Award for “Ziba Saadeem Kon”, while Reza Mirkarimi was honored with the Best Film Award for “Night Watchman”. The audience’s choice was “Fossil”, produced by Ebrahim Amarian, illustrating the diverse tastes of film lovers.
