Zila Amirshahi: A Journey of Transformation and Immigration to Canada

Despite her successful career in broadcasting, acting was never a part of Amirshahi’s plans. However, she received an offer to act in the film “Too Far, Too Near,” where the main character, Masoud, was searching for his son. In the story, his search was meant to start with the program “We’re Coming Back,” which led to the proposal for Amirshahi to play the host in the movie. Although she considered the opportunity, her wife expressed her disapproval, leading Amirshahi to decline the acting role. Instead, Zila Sadeghi took on the character in the film.
