Turkey has not imposed sanctions against Russia. A media outlet in Greece said Navka, who was born in Ukraine, was sailing between Turkish and Greek islands on a yacht belonging to an unnamed Russian businessman. Navka has since deleted the Instagram post that showed her smashing plates to Sirtaki, a melody made famous as the soundtrack to the 1964 film starring Anthony Quinn. The Kremlin banned Instagram as “extremist.”
