Death of My Grandmother

Well, I remember that my grandmother (we were very close, and I called her Mimi) was admitted to the hospital in a bad mood, and we all knew that if not the last days, then the last weeks of her life. After visiting her, we decided to visit the hospital next week. The next day I went to work like every working day, but I had to go home because of my bad mood. At my place of work, it’s usually very hard to give a day off on the first working day of the week, but I was sent home quickly because of my bad mood.

I’m standing in my bedroom trying to remember what I was supposed to do. I am extremely tired, sad, and nervous. Suddenly, a very powerful feeling comes over me. It is as if a heavy weight of sorrow has been placed on my shoulders or a great sadness has been planted in my heart. I remember that for several minutes I could hardly breathe, and I was not even able to drag myself to the phone and call 911.

A few minutes later I felt better, and I was just getting up from the floor when the phone rang. It was my mother. My mother informed me that Mimi had passed away a few minutes ago, and I told her that I understood.
