Remembering Shahrokh Shahid: A Reflection by Mahroo

My journey with Shahrokh Shahid spanned three years, a chapter that shaped the paths we would individually tread in life. Although our union did not bring forth children, the subsequent marriages blessed me with a daughter named Tiana, while Shahrokh welcomed his daughter Melodi into the world. Following our separation, Shahrokh and I took divergent paths, yet the threads of connection endured. Over the years, our interactions ebbed and flowed, marked by moments of mutual respect and shared laughter.

Shahrokh’s illness cast a shadow over our history, and in an attempt to offer solace, I sought to visit him. However, he chose solitude, concealing his pain from those who cared. The news of Shahrokh’s passing struck a chord within me, and I extend my heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family and his dear daughter. May the soul of this beloved artist and patriot find peace, and may his memory endure as a cherished legacy.
