The Viguen, known as “King of pop” daughter Jacqueline Derderian Battling Blood Cancer in the U.S.

Jacqueline is the daughter of Vigan, a singer, and the twin sister of Aileen, an actress of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema and a former host of Persian-language channels. Jacqueline, a singer, songwriter and composer, became known as a composer with the song “Bird” and has been active for nearly 40 years. Some have named Jacqueline as the only prominent female composer in the history of music.
