Martik Qarakhanian, born on July 26, 1328, in Abadan, is a singer and composer. He studied until the diploma level, then he continued his career playing the guitar, and finally, when he was 27 years old, he started singing and composing. He was born in Farah Abad, Abadan, to Armenian parents. He has two sisters and one brother; his father was an electrician for an oil company, and his mother was a housewife. In 1343, when Martik was 15 years old, after his father’s retirement, his family moved, and he started playing the guitar there. For a long time, he was a musician and occasionally sang in English, but in 1354, when he was 26 years old, he started singing in Farsi with the encouragement of Arif and Gogoosh.
