Being a proficient ney and flute player, Hengameh’s father believed that she should learn the Persian classical music modes, “Radif” and develop a strong theoretical foundation, as he himself was very much interested and knowledgeable in this genre of music. Hengameh enjoyed the support of her family and friends, as she grew older.
