You can buy very affordable towels, linen, pillows, blankets and other homewares from Primark (just avoid the Oxford Street store where possible). I’d recommend setting aside a small budget for essential homewares so you deck your space out when you arrive. You might also like to bring a few things from home, like photographs, to put up. When we moved, we bought all our essentials from the Aussie couple moving out of the flat and got everything we needed for a bargain.
