Acting Career and Rise to Fame
Shahrokh Estakhri began his acting journey in 2002 with the stage play “Horses”, directed by Mohammad Rahmanian. Eager to hone his craft, he took acting lessons with renowned Iranian actors and directors like Mahtab Nasirpour, Payam Dehkordi, and Hedyeh Hushmand. His early works included minor roles in TV series and telefilms, one of which was “Talkhoon”, directed by Alireza Amini.
His first major breakthrough in Iranian cinema came in 2011 with the movie “Rush Hour”, directed by Arash Moayyerian. However, it was his television work that truly brought him widespread recognition. Estakhri’s defining role came in the 2009 hit TV series “Delnavaazan”, directed by Hossein Sohailizadeh, where he played the character “Behzad.” He quickly became a fan favorite, sharing the screen with well-known Iranian actors like Sahar Ghoreishi and Siavash Kheirabi.
