Sara Etemad, Iran’s national women’s basketball player, published a photo of herself and Fateme Motamedarya without the mandatory hijab on her Instagram page and wrote: “When I decided not to play professionally for this season under the existing conditions, I started my career after a few months. “To do something new that I have always wanted to do.” Referring to Fatemeh Motamedarya’s decision, this women’s national basketball player added: “Hearing the statement that I am not playing at the moment from the mother of the red hat made me feel disgusted and made me feel that I am not alone.” She, who is seen in the photos next to Fatemeh Motamedarya without the mandatory hijab, wrote with the hashtag “woman, life, freedom” and wrote: “I am proud of the women of my land.”
