Niloufar Shahidi was born on December 1, 1988, in Tehran, Iran, into an artistic family deeply embedded in Iran’s film and television industry. Her father, Esfandiar Shahidi, is a renowned veteran film director, whose works have shaped Iranian cinema for decades.

Growing up in a creative environment, Niloufar’s early years were filled with exposure to the world of arts and storytelling. Despite her family’s artistic background, her father initially opposed her entering acting, preferring her to pursue a more traditional career path.

Family and Siblings

Niloufar has two younger brothers, Omid and Hamed, with whom she shares a close bond. Her family values, combined with her exposure to cinema from a young age, played a crucial role in shaping her artistic aspirations.
