Legal Ordeal and Diplomatic Support: Narges Kalbasi’s Journey Amidst Accusations – A Critical Examination

In the aftermath of the devastating Kermanshah earthquake, which struck on a fateful day in 1396, the victims faced not only the physical destruction of their homes but also the shattering of their trust in relief efforts. Among those who rose to prominence during this challenging time was Narges Kolbasi, who initiated a campaign titled “Celebration of 5,000 Tomans” in cyberspace. The campaign aimed to rebuild homes and create job opportunities for the affected communities in four villages of Sarpol Zahab, Kermanshah.

The Allegations:

However, on June 5, 1397, a collective complaint emerged against Narges Kolbasi, led by a group of earthquake victims from Sarpol Zahab. These individuals, deeply affected by the quake, took their concerns to the court of computer crimes, accusing Kolbasi of collusion to steal people’s property and perpetrate fraud. The plaintiffs argue that despite the generous donations received in the aftermath of the earthquake, the funds did not reach the intended recipients—those who had lost their homes and livelihoods.

Unfulfilled Promises:

The complainants contend that several celebrities, including Narges Kolbasi, collected substantial sums of money under the pretext of aiding earthquake victims. However, they allege that these funds were not effectively utilized for the intended relief efforts. The promised initiatives, such as house building and job creation, have reportedly fallen short, leaving the victims disillusioned and aggrieved.
