Mike Pompeo visiting NCRI’s Maryam Rajavi in Ashraf 3 in Tirana

This year, the US Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) decided to locate a special operations forces headquarters in Albania, which will provide increased interoperability between the partners, important access to transportation hubs in the Balkans, and greater logistical flexibility for the US military. After meeting with Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance, Mr. Pompeo visited the Ashraf 3 museum where the history and evidence of 120 years long resistance of the people throughout the rule of three dictators was demonstrated.
