Mehran Ghafourian’s Inspirational Journey to Karbala

Television and Film Contributions

From 1376, Ghafourian created various television programs, including Golha and Harf To Harf. His collaboration with Mehran Modiri in 1377 and his directorial projects, especially the “Hajira” series, cemented his reputation. His notable work, City Under the Sky, led to subsequent series. In 1382, he began the series No Entry, though it faced interruptions by network executives.

Recent Works and Health

In 2015, Ghafourian took over the direction of the Neighbors series after the original director, Arash Meiriyan, had to step down due to an injury. His commitment to his work was evident as he successfully completed the project.

In 2014, he won first place in the Khandwane program’s best laugher competition alongside Amir Mahdi Jule. On 26 Mehr 1400, he suffered a heart attack on the set of the Nissan Blue series and underwent open heart surgery the next day.
